In the coming school year 2024/2025, ‘Das fliegende Künstlerzimmer’ will make guest appearances on a total of six school playgrounds in Hesse. A two-year artist-in-residence scholarship will be awarded to two of them from the summer.

The pupils and teachers at Gutenbergschule Dieburg, a primary school in Dieburg in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, are looking for a visual artist for the artist-in-residence scholarship. The Gesamtschule Battenberg, a co-operative comprehensive school in Battenberg in the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg, is also looking for a visual artist for the artist-in-residence scholarship.

Applications are open to artists from the above-mentioned field who, in addition to their own artistic work, are experienced in cultural education work with children and young people in schools. Please note that applications are only possible for one of the two schools. The call for applications runs until 17 March 2024.
