Reading and discussion with Theresia Enzensberger

Theresia Enzensberger's novel ‘Auf See’ (Hanser Verlag), published in 2022, deals with the excesses of neoliberal utopias and the design of a female future. In it, she deals with questions of social and individual responsibility for living together in times of crisis and climate change. Who is particularly affected by crises and who believes they can save themselves from them? Who has the power to act and who bears the consequences? These and other questions take place on an island in the Baltic Sea, where Theresia Enzensberger talks to Christoph Schröder about past and future futures.
