Textland Literaturfest 2023
‘Utopia or Tomorrow’s Reality’
The literary festival Textland Literaturfest is about to take place in Frankfurt for the sixth time, and this year the Crespo Foundation is excited to be involved as sponsor.
The theme for 2023 will focus on ‘Utopia or Tomorrow’s Reality’. Over two days in December, a number of conversations, readings and performances will examine the link between remembrance, the present and the future.
‘Textland is a major literature festival in Frankfurt with content that intersects at multiple points with the WORTMELDUNGEN Ulrike Crespo Literaturpreis. We’re linked by a thematic interest in critical discourse, topical issues and contemporary authors. That’s why we’re so pleased to be supporting Textland this year,’ explains Sandra Poppe, project consultant for the WORTMELDUNGEN programme.
With Maryam Aras, Alida Assmann, Lukas Bärfuss, Ibou Coulibaly Diop, Theresia Enzensberger, Nino Haratischwili, Klaus Kastberger, Meron Mendel, Fiston Mwanza Mujila, Deniz Utlu, Insa Wilke and many more.
Organised by Faust Kultur Stiftung and curated in 2023 by author Tanja Maljartschuk and poet Alexandru Bulucz.
