KINDERTANZT! assists educational professionals and teachers in devising movement-based projects and getting them established in their nurseries, schools and after-school care. The participants of this 15-month further training programme learn about contemporary methods of teaching dance as well as acquiring knowledge of anatomy and psychological development. Experiencing the body from an aesthetic perspective is paramount here.

KINDERTANZT! conforms with the guidelines issued by Hesse’s educational and pedagogical programme for children aged zero to ten. After the programme had run five times it became a permanent fixture in the Rhine-Main region, and since 2022 it has also been implemented at other locations in Hesse. The Kindheitspädagogik (Childhood Education) work and study dual degree course at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in Cologne has also integrated the contents of KINDERTANZT! into its curriculum.
